It’s alive! The Business Directory Finder, Alpha version. Why Alpha? Well… because it’s too far from completion to even be called beta!

We are launching this website with big hopes, expectations, and ambitions. This means we are going slow to work on quality first and on quantity later.

We know that very few categories are available at the moment. The “Alpha” step will be for us the time to slowly build our categories tree to regroup more and more businesses in more and more domains. Of course, we are using a business database that is already quite complete. But our goal is not to parse 20 million pages and then just take a nap, because we would not be the first ones to do so! Yes it’s true, there are many other directories on the Web that list any business you could need to find, and I’m not taking about the Yellow Pages… but do you know one of them? probably not… why? because they can’t stand out! Our vision is to organize that 20M business list into categories that will fit YOUR searches and not just the government listing specifications.

The site is already quite functional, we do list a large quantity of pertinent businesses and it will keep on growing and bringing new features. This step is a also a good time to gather your comments and suggestions, so we would be very grateful to share any impression you could have with us.

Once we have a decent number of categories we will turn on the user features to let you complete the list, make it current, add details, comments, reviews… This will be the Beta version, and this is another story… In the meantime, don’t hesitate to subscribe to our mailing list to be warned every time a new feature is added!

Thank you all for your interest, and enjoy!
